Mike and Nicole: Married
The day kept up with rain, sideways rain, torrential rain, cold rain…. But there were a few times we could make it outside when the sun decided to peek out. It was a nice day for a wedding. Even with the spastic rain storms, these folks would not let anything ruin their special day. It was a honor to cover their event. I have known Mike since high school and I must say that, Nicole, landed quite a catch.
Yes that’s a bit biased. I know, I know. But I must also say that after shooting their engagement session, I realized that Mike had one heck of woman. Nicole is a beautiful, caring young lady. I think that Mike must be in awe everyday he wakes up beside his new wife. We had a blast at their wedding. These folks know how to throw a party.
I don’t think that we have ever had this good of a reaction out of the bride when she was walking down the aisle. Amazing!
Oh yeah.. Rockin the grills.

Dupree Wedding
I have been terrible at getting this updated. First and foremost, let me apologize for the delay with Jake and Tracy’s photos. For those wondering why it took so long to get them finished, I was really ill for a point and time.
It was a nice day in March, a little on the cool side. However, everyone there was in great spirits and wouldn’t let the chill of the wind keep them down. I couldn’t be more happy to have worked with Tracy and Jake. I admire them both so much. They are truly strong individuals and will always be my heroes.
No further ado, here they are, Jake and Tracy’s wedding pictures.
Tracy’s beautiful dress.
Tracy’s Dad, Steve and his reaction to seeing her in the dress. I love it!
I love the veil picture. They are such an awesome couple. I am so glad they found one another.
As I reassured the group they would not be hit by a car, guess what pulls in behind them? =)
Winston’s face says it all.
I love this family!
Beautiful!
Thanks again for letting us be a part of your special day! We loved every minute of it!

It’s been a while…
To all that follow this blog, let me first apologize for not updating it as much as I should.. I have several sessions I will be posting in the following days.
We have been pretty busy during the normal “downtime” of the photography season. I am very happy about that.
We have also begun a sponsorship of the North Bullitt Lady Eagles softball program. I could not be more excited about that! Some of my best friendships were created in the school and some of the best memories I have come from playing sports there. We are looking for more sponsorship avenues at this time for the High School level and even middle school. If you are interested in sponsorship, please feel free to e-mail us.
I must admit, that along with the good has come the bad. It is unfortunate, but that is the way the cards are dealt sometimes. I have been struggling with some medical issues. I never realized how much you enjoy doing certain things or eating certain things until something prevents you from doing so.
Now, with that said, we are trying to limit the number of all day coverage weddings we book. We are still booking weddings, senior sessions, portraits, maternity sessions, and whatever else may come across our plates. I am just not comfortable with booking an all day session right now until some type of diagnosis is come to. I hope that our current clients and future clients can respect that. 14 hours of coverage compared to 6 hours of coverage can make that much a difference to me at this point and time.
I will follow up this post with more information as we find it out. I shall be seeing a specialist later this week for what I am dealing with.
I honestly just feel that it is better to be honest and more upfront about what is going on right now, than it is to over do things and create a series of unfortunate events. lol
With all that aside, I have managed to venture outside some and take some shots of my flowers out front. They have been beautiful coloring up against my home. I can’t wait for warm weather to stay here.

Nicole and Mike: E-Session
April can not come fast enough for these lovebirds. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather in November for their e session. =) It was almost too warm for the sweaters!
I am very honored to cover their special day in April!
Here are a few images from the day.

Brittany and Tosapol
Hello late post.. I know, I have been really bad about this lately. However, I truly believe that these were worth waiting for.
Happily Married on August 22nd, 2009. Despite the fear of rain, the wedding was still held outdoors and was gorgeous! Brittany was stunning and Tosapol was as handsome as ever.

Tosapol built the patio area specifically for the wedding. It was stunning to say the least!

All the ladies were watching the groomsmen outside as they were getting their pictures taken. Isn’t that a form of cheating? =)

But they sure were a good looking group.

Stunning is all I can say. Tosapol is a lucky man.

It was a beautiful wedding and a fantastic day. Thank you Brittany and Tosapol for allowing us to capture your day!

Brittney and Jeremy
What a wonderful day for us! We got to work with Brittney and Jeremy for their engagement session. They will be saying their Vows on October 10th! Super exciting!

Brittney and Jeremy are so awesome. They have been together for 8 years and they are still going strong. If their wedding is anything like her brothers, we are going to have to drink tons of caffeine and sleep the next day after shooting! I can’t wait!

Lindsay and Jonathon
Well on June 27th, something spectacular happened.
Lindsay and Jonathon took the plunge on a gorgeous day. We could not have asked for better weather or people to be around. I can’t believe how these folks can party! It was awesome. Admittedly my husband and I were beat after this day, but it was worth it. I am currently working on going through all of the memories we captured, but here is a sneak peek of some.

Her awesome dress. You have to love the little detail shots.

Putting the flower in the flower girl’s hair.

Stunning bouquet and rings!

This is one of my favorites from the day. It shows just how anxious Jonathon was to see his stunning Bride!

And of course, what would a party be without someone doing the worm?
We had a blast guys! You were such an awesome and easy group to work with. We greatly appreciate you having us being a part of your special day!

Brittany and Tosapol: E-Session
First let me say I have yet to see a couple that were as easy going as Brittany and Tosapol were. We had a blast. Their wedding is exactly one month from today!
I can’t wait! They will be having an outdoor ceremony and then will be moving the party to the Mellwood Center for the Arts.

One of my favorites!

Brittany and Tosapol were smiles all day long and we didn’t even have to ask them to do it!

We were honored to work with such an awesome and loving couple for their E: Session pictures.
We are counting down the days till August 22nd!

RaShaun Rocks it out! Trash the Dress
RaShaun was kind enough to be one of the first to “Trash the Dress” for me. I love the way these turned out. This is just a small sample from the day.
Ray you are beautiful!

The last one is my personal favorite of the series that I have so far. RaShaun was just calm and cool as she always is. The session was a blast!

Jonathan and Lindsay: E-Session
Tonight we had the opportunity to work with Jonathan and Lindsay. They were fantastic. What an awesome loving couple, still going strong after 6 years!
We shot their engagement session in downtown tonight. We barely had to tell them what to do at all. They were naturals.
They were such a fun couple. I can’t wait to capture their special day!
